Ever felt ashamed for still being hungry after a meal? Always wondering to yourself why you’re always hungry?! It’s not YOUR fault… when you are hungry, your body is telling you that you NEED more food, more fuel, & more energy to move you forward! I too have fallen victim to this mentality & have avoided eating because I felt I shouldn’t be eating at a specific “time”… even if I truly needed food.
If you feel hungry, it has nothing to do with your “lack of willpower” but it MAY have something to do with these things…
👉Are your meals nutritionally balanced? Are you getting enough carbs, protein, fats, fiber, water?
👉Are you ignoring your hunger cues? Are you eating distracted most of the day?
👉Are you truly satisfied with your meals? Are you restricting your favorite foods?
👉Do you just need a post-meal treat? Was your meal satisfying but you have a taste for a little something else?
👉Are you getting enough sleep?
Start here & become AWARE of the certain factors that may be leading to your hunger. Is there an underlying WHY to your hunger?! Once you uncover that, it’ll be easier to come up with a game plan to move forward😁
Need help getting started?! Here are some places to begin…
💛Slow down & savor your food
💛Add an extra snack or eat larger portions at mealtime
💛Include lean protein, fruits, veggies, whole grains, & healthy fats daily
💛Rack up at least 7 hours of sleep
